Comments from the 2007 run of Beyond Belief

"For us, your show was nothing short of spectacular. I was particularly taken by how you structured the evening to be very personal and how much the audience "liked" you as a person. I think even a skeptic would have wanted you to succeed if only because of your onstage charisma and joy of performing. Not to mention that your skills are impressive to begin with."

-- Jeff, Chapel Hill

"I want to tell you how much I loved your theater piece. I particularly love the risks you took, and in a time of packaged, air-brushed entertainment, yours work is especially risky and wonderful. I've told everybody about it. You'll just have to do the whole thing again to accomodate the hundreds of people who were turned away at the gate. "

-- Linda, Raleigh

"We really enjoyed your show! We came as a group of 6. Afterwards we went home and talked about wonder until the wee hours of the morning. Thanks!!"

-- Walter and Carol, Greensboro

"I took my whole family to your show for my birthday. We were ALL blown away. We loved the way you did the show, the intimate setting, the stories you told. And the 'mind reading' part was just amazing. I really have no idea how you did that! Maybe you really can read minds.....? Your approach to magic is unique and very engaging. We are not just witnessing a spectacle that looks like a lot of smoke and mirrors. You really invite us in and make us wonder and be amazed, and reach for something beyond our mundane daily lives. Thank you!"

-- Mia, Chapel Hill

"...I LOVED your show.  It had me run out and get copies of both The Illusionist and The Prestige to view -- neither of which delighted half as much as what I saw you do...  ...It was, as they say, "pure magic."  Pure and magic."

-- Lee, Hillsborough

"...It was a great pleasure to see the show. You were fabulous. It was such a special production. I could go on and on about your relationship with the audience, your obvious LOVE of magic, the spirituality of the evening… Thanks for bringing this to the general audience of the Triangle..."

Lenore, Durham

I just wanted to thank you again for such a wonderful show last night. What I am left with the day after, besides the excitement of remembering the magic "tricks," is this lingering feeling of having experienced something lovely. The manner in which you both presented the material, the kindness and care for the subject and for the connection to the individual experiences of all of us audience members made it unique - and very much a reflexion of your spirit. Thank you again for sharing your gifts with us last night. Now, if you could just extend the run so that I could bring more people...
