Joshua Lozoff has been studying and sharing magic around the world for the past decade. He regularly performs at public events and corporate & private functions in his home state of North Carolina, and across the U.S. In 2005, he was one of only two magicians to receive an invitation to perform at the World’s Fair in Japan (see photos of this trip).

Before turning his attention to the conjuring arts, Joshua was a professional actor in Los Angeles, including a notable recurring role on the TV show Cheers, and as Logan in the film Clueless. (See Josh on IMDB.)

Joshua left Hollywood in the mid-90s to regain his sanity and devote more time to service work, including volunteer stints in Guatemala and Bolivia. It was during his travels that a chance encounter with a street magician sparked a new interest, and Joshua began his training.

Traveling around the world, Joshua studied with masters and fellow magi on several continents. Now Joshua is regarded as one of the top close-up magicians working today. Private party hosts and professional event planners consistently count on him for unique, powerful and memorable magic at their events.

If you are considering inviting Joshua to perform magic, you may enjoy reading a short letter Joshua recently received following a performance at a wedding reception, or a particularly poetic testimonial from a folk music legend. (A client list and more testimonials can be found here.
